The Reactivity Lab: Comparing how different metals reactBy Dhania and Sohom

Aim: To conduct experiments using five metals and observe which one is the most reactive, and which is the least.

Variable Table:

Hypothesis: If one was to conduct an experiment involving five different metals and hydrochloric acid to see which was most reactive, then iron would be most reactive and copper would be least reactive, because iron is closer to the alkali metals on the periodic table of the elements and copper is further.

Equipment List:

1 Test Tube
3 Beakers
20 ml of Hydrochloric Acid
1 piece of magnesium
1 piece of copper
1 piece of zinc
1 piece of iron
1 piece of aluminum
